CGPDTM Mains Exam Date 2024
The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently administered the first phase of the Recruitment Examination for Patent and Design Posts.
This examination aimed to fill 553 vacancies under the DR Quota in the Patent Office and accommodated approximately 89,657 candidates across 260 centers in 103 cities nationwide.
Following the preliminary examination, the NTA promptly released the results and CGPDTM hall ticket on their website.
Subsequently, the NTA is scheduled to conduct the Main Exam (Paper I & Paper II) on January 25, 2024, exclusively for the qualified candidates.
The Computer Based Test (CBT) in Main Paper I will be held on January 25, Thursday in the first shift. And in second shift paper 2 will have descriptive test.
CGPDTM Mains Exam Pattern
The syllabus of Mains Paper 1 covers various subjects including General Knowledge and Current Affairs, General Aptitude, Elementary Mathematics, English Language Proficiency and Knowledge related to Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs).
Questions for 20 marks will be asked on each topic. The examination will be conducted in online CBT mode. And Main Paper 2 covers technical/scientific subject of the vacancy applied for 300 marks.
