The Chandigarh Education Department will soon publish Chandigarh JBT Admit Card 2024 for Junior Basic Teacher and Primary Teacher (PRT) positions on the official site.
Administration is planning to hire skill employee for 396 vacancies. Applicants who had successfully submitted a valid application form can get their admit cards from the official link https://www.chdeducation.gov.in.

Chandigarh Teacher Exam Date 2024
The department released notice 06/2023 on 24 January 2024 to recruit eligible candidates. The application form submission period was started from 24 January to 29 February 2024.
CHD education recruitment cell will conduct JBT written test on 17th March 2024 in morning shift from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. It is mandatory for candidates to carry the CHD teacher hall ticket to the exam center.
After downloading the admit card, all applicants should check the information printed on it. If there is any error on it, immediately contact the administration helpline and get it corrected.
Chandigarh JBT Teacher Exam Pattern
Department is going to conduct offline MCQ type written exam to fill Chandigarh teacher vacancies. This test will be of 150 marks.
Qualifying Marks will be 40% in this exam. Also there will be 1/4th Negative Marking scheme.
In the exam, a total of 150 objective questions will be asked on the subjects of General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Pedagogical Aptitude, Information Technology, English Comprehension, Punjabi Comprehension, Hindi Comprehension, Elementary Mathematics, Basic Science, Social Studies.
Candidates who successfully clear this exam round will be called for document verification. After that they will be appointed on the posts of junior basics teacher after conducting personal interview.

Applicants can follow these simple steps to download and print CHD JBT Teacher admit card.
- Navigate to the Chandigarh Education Department’s official website www.chdeducation.gov.in.
- After opening the portal homepage, click on “Recruitments” section from the menu bar.
- Then look for “Chandigarh Junior Basic Teacher Hall Ticket” link and click on it.
- Fill your details like application number and Date of birth in the newly open login tab.
- At last, save the copy of hall ticket.
